Weeds Heal? Trusting our Senses

In this two hour participatory workshop we used local plants to discover how tasting, touching and smelling a plant are a part of uncovering the language of plants. Participants learned how to tell if a plant has alkaloids, saponins, or salicylates.

This participatory intensive focused on digestion and the use of real life case studies to illustrate the importance of the digestive system in overall health. Isla also engaged participants in the language of plants and taught how to fine tune their use in healing.
